Nic Alibasic of Sarasota, FL joined me for an evening of fly fishing in Snook Alley. We fished the beginning of a strong outgoing tide and did well. When tidal flow was minimal we dead drifted glass minnow patterns deep under the lights and found quality fish. As the tide picked up, a short twitch retrieve was most effective. Nic’s second fish of the night was a slot snook (pictured above). It was a strong fish and it took some time to get boatside. Congrats Nic!
