The tides around the new moon in February produced some very good night fishing in the ‘Alley. Glass minnow pattern flies remain the ticket, but we’re now starting to see more and more shrimp wash through the lights, so shrimp patterns should become en vogue soon.

Matt Rudy, of Chicago, IL, shows off a snook, with a little port side glow, caught on a recent trip to the ‘Alley. He also managed to point out the giant goliath grouper hanging low under one of the famed lights in the ‘Alley. Wow, what a sight!
